RESEARCH 2

PhD research sketeches

This research project examines how climate responsibility can be activated in actors who hold disproportionate influence over climate outcomes while remaining structurally insulated from its impacts. Through installation-based, experiential research methods, the project develops stress-test environments that investigate how uncertainty, embodied tension, and collective dependency affect perception, decision-making, and responsibility. Rather than relying on information or moral appeal, the work focuses on altering the conditions under which decisions are made, exploring whether momentary states of collective cognitive resonance can enable more responsive forms of climate engagement.
