Strata speaks to layers shaped through time,soil, sediment, organic matter carrying traces of transformation. Going into it after an extreme weather event, the series approaches the forest as a site of accumulation, where displacement, persistence, and emergence coexist and endure. What is visible is only part of the record; other layers remain sensed rather than seen.
